Our African Black Soap bars are fair trade and from Ghana, where they are handmade by women using natural local ingredients. These bars are great for cleansing your skin, and are full of ingredients that contain anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. These cleansing bars do not contain palm oil.

Key Ingredients

Vitamin E - Helps to support skin healing and hydrate skin, with antioxidant properties. It also has the ability to help build a barrier to help protect your skin from sun damage.

Shea Butter - Anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties which contribute to a few of the many benefits of Shea Butter in skincare, such as moisturizing, restoring elasticity and reducing irritation.

Directions

Grab a small piece of the African Black Soap cleansing bar under the tap to get the bar wet and apply directly onto a damp face, or for more gentle cleansing lather the bar between your hands and apply to your face. Massage cleanser into damp skin and rinse until there is no residue left.

If you have sensitive skin start using it 2-3 times a week and work your way up to every day slowly.

Our Cleanser is handcrafted with natural ingredients, and should be used within one year of purchasing. Try to refrain from storing your cleansing bar in standing water to assist with longevity of the product.

Love this!

I was recommended to try this cleanser and am so so happy with it! I love how my skin feels after using it, very fresh and soft. It does a great job at removing dirt/oil/leftover makeup. I've had the first bar I purchased for a number of months now and there is still a lot left to use. Using this bar and then following it up with the Delta Mei Chamomile Aloe Toner and the Bakuchiol serum has really improved the texture and hydration of my skin!
